1. Welcome
As we step into a new year, the EXCELLERAT journey continues to evolve with exciting developments and upcoming milestones. 2025 is shaping up to be a significant year for HPC and innovation, with events like the EuroHPC Summit in mid-March and the Austrian-Slovenian HPC Meeting in May already on the horizon. This summer, we’re looking forward to our M30 Review Meeting, an important moment to reflect on our progress and future directions.
In this issue, we’re thrilled to introduce two new podcast episodes that highlight the transformative potential of High-Performance Computing (HPC). These conversations, ranging from societal applications of Artificial Intelligence to breakthroughs in Computational Fluid Dynamics, underscore the wide-reaching impact of HPC in addressing critical challenges and advancing scientific frontiers.
Stay tuned as we continue to innovate, collaborate, and make HPC more accessible across various sectors. We’re grateful to have you with us on this journey.
